2016 gave us our second baby Leonardo, an angel that step by step has found his own place in our family. Always smiling and very quiet it seems he has understood that his presence should have matched our new life in London.
In Italy we had a house, we both had a job and Milan was the place we had chosen to raise our family. We were happy but we wanted more. It is when you think that the world is so big to stop at the first station and you dream a better future for your family. Ambition and risks, we left a secure life for an unknown one.
Living far from friends and family is not easy, anyway London is paying off our efforts. I have discovered unsuspecting mums’solidarity and support and a group of friends that shares our same problems, fairs, difficulties and experience that is very helpful.
Andrea wasn’t big enough to understand all the changes however he has been a perfect team player. I have spent with him a lot of time, everyday together before deciding it was time for him to go to the nursery. We have found a Montessori preschool and he loves to go there, he is learning English as a natural language, we are so proud of him.
At the end of 2016 I have started this blog. I don’t know where it will take me however it is for me pure oxygen. It is a good way to reflect on life, to fix memories and to state projects and next goals. Thanks 2016 you have been so generous and I will remember you for ever. #bestnine2016
